PRIVACY POLICY

All the personal information you provide (both written and verbal) is confidential. This applies to both paper and computer records and is held within the terms of the Data Protection Act.

The notes I take during our sessions are for the purpose of your treatment only.

No other persons will have access to personal information unless there are exceptional circumstances. These are limited to:

• Legal action (criminal or civil court cases where a court order is made demanding disclosure).
• Legal requirements
• Where there is good cause to believe that not to disclose would cause danger or serious harm to the client, the therapist and/or others.

All my work is carried out in line with the code of ethics and conduct of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH); a copy is available on their website. If you feel that these have been breached, you have the right to access the complaints procedure of the NCH.
